Fred has strong roots in racing and knows what it takes to win. Starting as a driver in modifieds, then sprints cars, to becoming one of the premier car owners in URC(united racing company) the oldest traveling sprint car series in the country.
Fred knows the value of quality and uses J&J chassis, Y.R.E(Yardley Racing Engines) & Winters Rears. With no less then 5 complete cars on the floor & parts for a couple more. The 02 freightliner toter & 49ft. Trailer insures Fred Kennedy Racing comes to the track ready to compete.
As owner of Team 56, Fred has fielded cars for Greg Coverdale, Billy Pauch, Trevor Lewis, Chris Coyle, Mares Stellfox, Mike Stoer and many more… But when Robbie Stillwaggon came onboard, Fred broke out his old number 89. No one had run the 89 since Fred and everyone knew it was here to stay!
